Life is moving quickly, especially when you're growing up, becoming a teenager. It's a tough time to make serious long-term decisions but you've got to do it or you'll wonder where time went and passed you by.

Trust is your #1 priority in all business situations as well as on the home front. No one wants to get connected with a liar, a cheat. Remember Tiger Woods and his loss of family due to poor behavior in the marketplace? None of us like to be let down by those we believe in.

Your Challenge is Network Marketing

You have to agree that NWM is an awesome idea for most of us, particularly if you have a grumpy boss or hate going to work every day. We call it our Dream Job and love every minute at the "office".

Spend all your time evaluating possibilities and you'll never get off the ground. Taking the cash to the bank is our goal, not getting everything perfect. It sounds rather harsh but truth must be faced in the world of building a home based business.

Losers Never Buy the Products

In capsule form, Network Marketing is simply telling others about your latest discovery and encouraging them to join YOUR team. A home based business, residual income, extra streams of cash sounds awesome, right? Having your own business is exciting, too. As always, there's a curve in the road, folks lose interest, and we go back to square one and begin again.

Every business has challenges. Sometimes it's as simple as NO cash and that puts a real crimp in operations. Many times it's lack of know-how and then there's always the people problems. You can add more reasons but these 3 cover the major issues which never come into play when you're in network marketing with your own business.

Only 3% of Network Marketers Can Meet the Challenge

Can you tie that 3% to personality? Are folks different in perception or are all of us the same? What is your attitude about the people in your contacts circle? Can we put a color around personal responses when we talk with a person by phone? Lots of us refer to someone as being outgoing, or an extrovert, like a salesperson usually has an extrovert personality. The office accountant, the computer guru is "generally" an introvert. Which one are YOU? Are you blue, red, yellow or green? Most of us are more likely a combination.

97% Can’t Pick Up the Phone

One of those "did you know" realities. Why do only about 3% of home based business owners succeed and make money? Most folks simply cannot [will not] pick up their phone to tell anybody about their new home business in network marketing. Maybe you'll be different. Only YOU know who you are. No one has the power of motivation over anyone else. Obviously, you have to make others aware of your new business or the sales are unlikely to build a profit center for you. I'm sure you understand, right?

The Power of a 3×9 Matrix

Most of us want to see the $$ and let someone else worry about the details as long as we see our residual income growing. Is that YOU? When you get a nice residual income stream every day, week, or month it's not important to understand more. Maybe there is more we should know before making a wrong decision. Many things sound good until we look under the hood to get closer to the engine. Networking has lots of great features to build a residual income. However, don't get fooled when you look deep and wide.

A J-O-B Means “Just Over Broke”

Usually, we're looking at a net paycheck about 40% less than gross, right? Another thing we left out of the equation was the 30, 60, or 90 minutes FREE time gift you make to your employer just getting to work. Almost forgot, getting back home is another 30, 60, or 90 minutes "lost" time. By the time you get your paycheck, pay expenses, there's very little left to pay the bills.
